This program runs for 5 sessions from Sept 10 - Oct 8 only. In addition there will be three 50 minute skills sessions included on September 10th, 24th & October 1st from 5:25pm - 6:15pm. This is for out of club skaters looking for ice before their sessions start.

The STARSkate 3-4 program consists of figure skating skills in five main areas - Skating Skills, Ice Dance, Freeskate, Artistic & Synchro.

To register for this program - must have completed all Star 2 assessments, or receive StarSkate Coordinator approval.

For developing skaters ready to expand their technical skills and performance quality. Coaching emphasizes more advanced spins, jumps, power, and artistry, while fostering independence through guided practice time. Includes required Physical Literacy off-ice training.

All STARSkate programs at the Lindsay Skating Club are delivered under the Skate Ontario Club Modernization Program. This means every session is fully coached in a team-teaching environment, allowing skaters to receive high-quality instruction and feedback throughout their ice time. Private or semi-private lessons may occur within sessions at no additional coaching cost. Some independent practice time may also be included, giving skaters the chance to apply skills while coaches remain available for support.

Participation in our Physical Literacy program is highly recommended for all STARSkate skaters. This off-ice training improves strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and helps prevent injuries. All Physical Literacy classes from Sept 10 - Oct 8 are included.

Seminar with Signe Ronka Included!

LSC is offering an on-ice and off-ice seminar taught by Signe Ronka, a former competitive figure skater and founder of the FlexaFit, a sport specific fitness program. Signe is a NCCP Level 3 Certified National Competitive Coach, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Personal Trainer Specialist (PTS) and has a Honour BA from the University of Toronto (Trinity College).
